WHAT IS THE SALE SIGN PROJECT?

The SALE SIGN project is a series of handmade signs meant to promote the practice of community economy principals and resource sharing and redistribution, while questioning the consumption-based values that pervade our communities.

108 signs are posted in relation the 108 St. Louis city parks -- camouflaging into the urban landscape and creating surprising discoveries among the commonplace intersections of the city.

This website was created to document each sign and provide further resources for people to explore ideas related to building a Solidarity Economy or one centered in our interdependence with other humans, other species, and our environment.
